Hey im jeff. This is my first post for my japanese class =D
Im really excited to learn japanese. I am a computer science major and I will probably head into the world of game design. Since many big gaming companies have presence in Japan, it would be great to study abroad there.
Another reason i'm learning Japanese is so that I can watch anime without subtitles. One day in class, our teacher, はまだせんせい, asked if any of us were あにめおたく, and I probably should have raised my hand xD
I love most animes. I am currently watching bleach, naruto, deathnote, getbackers, and I am getting ready for Full Metal Alchemist. And i have a bunch of others that I have already finished.
Anyway, I'm really excited for this entire class and I'm looking forward to any comments that any of you have.

I knew I have あにめおたく in my class!! :) I don't watch a lot of anime, but I do like Gundam. I sometimes watch it. I also like video games. I played Metal Gear Solid 4 this summer. It was great:) I guess I'm テレビゲーム(video game)おたく. Let me know if you know good video games!

I am a テレビゲームおたく as well! All of the Metal Gear Solid games are great!! I have my playstation 3 and Metal Gear Solid 4 in my dorm room =D
You watch anime too? I am really into Gundam 0, and Code Geass, this season is insane. I was considering buying playstation 3 just to play metal gear
Ok, Jeff, you clearly have this blogging thing down better than the rest of us and now I get it (being a Comp Sci major probably helps). That's cool that you want to go into video game design/production like Sam! I guess you are both あにめおたく! Jamata ashita!
